Philips Signage Solutions Display (Android 4.0)

💡 This is information for setting up and using equipment for PinToMind. Although we have an instruction, it is not a recommendation. Find information about equipment we recommend, on our website.

⚠️ This instruction is for Philips Signage Solution screens of the types D-Line, Q-Line and P-Line with model code 4050. Eg. 65BDL4050D. Common to these is that they run Android 4.4.4 and were produced until 2020.

Start-up of a new screen

  • Hang the screen, connect to electricity and follow the steps for start-up and internet-connection.
  • Choices regarding configuring CMS, CMND etc. are not needed.

You can reset to factory settings if you want to start set-up again. See more information below.

Start display in browser


1. Click SOURCE on the remote.

2. Select "Browser"

3. Click on "Settings" under "Browser"

4. Enter the address https://app.pintomind.com/live/ and click ”OK”.

(If https:// doesn't work on your screen model, try http:// or without https://)

5. Select the address in the list by pressing "OK" on the remote control at the address. Confirm once more.

6. Open https://app.pintomind.com/live/ in the browser. The screen now displays a code and instructions.

7. On another computer or mobile: Log in to app.pintomind.com/connect, and enter the code on the screen to connect the device to your account. 

8. Select which screen to display on the device under "SELECT A SCREEN". 

You can change the screen displayed on this device, at any time. See info here.

9. The screen you selected now starts displaying on your device.

Set up automatic start in browser

  • Click on ⌂ HOME on the remote
  • Select "Configuration 1" -> "Start on source".
  • Select "Entrance" ◀ BROWSER ▶ and "Playlist: ◀ 1 ▶"
  • The screen will then automatically start up again when the browser is turned on..

Set timing

  • Click on ⌂ HOME on the remote
  • Select "Advanced" -> "Schedule" and add times for on and off.

Reset Philips D-line to factory settings

NB! This guide will delete all content and settings on the screen.

  • Click on ⌂ HOME, and then 1, 8, 8, 8 on the remote to open managed mode
  • Select "Settings".
  • In the list, click on "System tools" -> "Reset to factory settings" -> "Reset to factory settings"
  • Then you will get a question regarding if you want to reset, click "OK".
  • The screen will then delete all content, and start up anew.
