Philips Signage Solution Display with Android 4

💡 This is information for setting up and using equipment for PinToMind. Although we have an instruction, it is not a recommendation. Find information about equipment we recommend, on our website.

⚠️ This instruction is for Philips Signage Solution screens of the types D-Line, Q-Line and P-Line with model code 4050. Eg. 65BDL4050D. Common to these is that they run Android 4.4.4 and were produced until 2020.

Start-up of a new screen

  • Hang the screen, connect to electricity and follow the steps for start-up and internet-connection.
  • Choices regarding configuring CMS, CMND etc. are not needed.

You can reset to factory settings if you want to start set-up again. See more information below.

Open display in browser

Follow the steps in the guide below, and you will get your public screen started in no time!

  • Click SOURCE on the remote.
  • Select "Browser"
  • Click on "Settings" under «Browser"
  • Enter the address "http://app.pintomind.com/go". Click ”OK”.
  • Then select the address in the list by clicking OK with the remote on the address.
    Afterwards click "Play".
  • Enter the screen-code for the screen (you find it in your list of screens), and the display will start. (Click OK on the remote for the keyboard to appear on the screen, to be able to enter the screen code.)

Set up automatic start in browser

  • Click on ⌂ HOME on the remote
  • Select "Configuration 1" -> "Start on source".
  • Select "Entrance" ◀ BROWSER ▶ and "Playlist: ◀ 1 ▶"
  • The screen will then automatically start up again when the browser is turned on..

Set timing

  • Click on ⌂ HOME on the remote
  • Select "Advanced" -> "Schedule" and add times for on and off.

Reset Philips D-line to factory settings

NB! This guide will delete all content and settings on the screen.

  • Click on ⌂ HOME, and then 1, 8, 8, 8 on the remote to open managed mode
  • Select "Settings".
  • In the list, click on "System tools" -> "Reset to factory settings" -> "Reset to factory settings"
  • Then you will get a question regarding if you want to reset, click "OK".
  • The screen will then delete all content, and start up anew.
