Display images from Instagram user
ℹ️ Freshen up your public screens by displaying images from Instagram! The Instagram-post on your public screens will automatically retrieve new images and keep people updated, at the same time as you get to advertise about where people can follow you.
You can display images from your own Instagram-user. The images on the public screen will be automatically updated when there are new images on Instagram.
Give access to your Instagram account
To display photos from Instagram on your PinToMind channel, you must authenticate and grant access.
- Select "Library" in the left menu, followed by "Integrations".
- Select "Instagram".
- Click "Connect" and log in with your Instagram account. You must give the PinToMind app access to retrieve data from your account.
- If the authentication is successful, the account you authenticated with appears. Click on "Add to library" on the resources you want to add, and click on "Use in new post" if you want to create a new post.
Once you have authenticated, you can also create a new post by selecting the "Instagram" post in the list of new posts. You can then choose the Instagram user from the library. If the resource is not found in the library, you can go back to the integration in the library and add it.
TIP: If you are logged into an Instagram account in the browser, this will come up automatically. If you want to display images from another Instagram account than the one you are logged in with, you must first log out of the Instagram account in the browser to be able to log in and authenticate with another one.
🔒 We can display images from all Instagram-accounts, but if the account is marked as a "Private account", one must authenticate the post anew every 60th day.
Limit amount of images and time period
The Instagram-post displays the images one by one, together with the text in the post.
Limit amount: You can yourself decide how many images to display, default is the last five.
Limit time period: You can also select how far back in time you want to display images from Instagram. Default is no limitation.
Selection: You can also show all images, even if there are several in a post, or you can choose to show one image per post.
Enter more text, link and attachment for PinToMind Go
You can add extra information to be displayed only in the mobile app PinToMind Go. Click on the mobile icon "📱" and enter text, link for more info and/or attachment.
Videos and Reels
Video-posts from your Instagram-account will be displayed on your public screen with the image you chose as a cover-photo for your video, marked with a video-icon. Reels cannot be displayed in the Instagram-post, but the text from the reels-post will be displayed on the screen.
Preview and save
We recommend testing the different options here, select channel(s) and area of the screen that you want the post displayed in, preview, and save when you are happy with it. 😊
