Add and remove channels in the mobile app

ℹ️ Once you have downloaded the PinToMind Go app to you mobile device, it is possible to follow and view content from several different information screen channels. When you follow several info screens, you get an overview of all your channels by returning to the channel overview.

Here's how to add and remove channels in the mobile app, on smart devices with iOS and Android:

Add a channel

Sharing code

  1. Open the mobile app, PinToMind Go.
  2. Go to the channel overview.
  3. Press the plus icon at the top right, or use one of the buttons at the bottom of the page.
  4. Enter the sharing code for the channel you want to follow in the sharing code field.
  5. Press "Add".

QR code

  1. Open the mobile app, PinToMind Go.
  2. Go to the channel overview.
  3. Tap the plus icon at the top right and tap "Scan QR", or use the "Scan QR" button at the bottom of the page.
  4. Scan the QR code on the screen or on another device by placing the QR code in the frame.
  5. Press "Add".

Invitation by e-mail

If the channel you want to follow is invite-only, you need an invite link. This is sent by e-mail by the administrator from the PinToMind account.
Have you received an invitation by e-mail: Open the  e-mail with the invitation to follow the channel, on the mobile phone on which you have downloaded the app, and follow the instructions.

Remove a channel

  1. Open the mobile app, PinToMind Go.
  2. Go to the channel overview.
  3. Press "More" on the channel you wish to remove.
  4. Select "Remove channel" and "Remove" to confirm. 

If you experience problems receiving push notifications after the sharing code has changed, you can do the following:

  1. First, remove the channel from the mobile app, PinToMind Go, on mobile or tablet
  2. End the mobile app (do not just close it) and open it again
  3. Add a new sharing code
  4. End the mobile app (do not just close it) and open it again.
