Update Android app installed via Google Play Store

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3. Tap Manage apps & device.
4. Tap Updates, then find PinToMind Player and tap Update.

Update Android app installed with sideloading

1. Press «Mid-Up-Up-Up» on the remote control.
2. If there is a new update, you will be notified if you want to install an update. Press Install.
3.  The app then updates itself automatically and restarts after updating.

Q&A:

• How do I know if the app is installed via Google Play Store or with sideloading?

  You can try updating with the remote control first. If nothing happens, then it is installed via the Google Play Store, and then you follow that guide.

• Why do I have to update the app manually?

  - Google Play Store: We find that Google's automatic update in the Google Play Store does not work quite as it should. Even if you have chosen for apps to be updated automatically, this does not always happen.

  - Sideloading: For apps that are installed with sideloading, you need to do this manually regardless. BUT after version 2.1.0 of the app, this happens automatically on devices with ROOT access (eg. Ugoos). 

• I can not find the app in the list of updates in the Google Play Store. What do I do?

  Then it is already on the latest version of the app, - or you must follow the guide to update the Android app installed with sideloading.
