My screen is OFFLINE - what do I do?

ℹ️ There can be several reasons for a screen to have gone "offline". It can be due to power outages, changes in the local network, firewall, etc., or that the hardware is in need of an update.

💡 Most of the time the problem will be solved by a simple restart of the physical screen and possibly of the connected player (PC, Ugoos, Chrome-device etc.) if you use this.

Checklist for offline screen

  • 🔌 First, try turning your screen and any connected device off and on, or pull the plug out and put it back in again.

Yes, it can be that simple. 😉 But if a restart doesn't help, check the following:

  • Check if the screen is connected to internet. 
  • Check if changes have been made in your local network (firewall etc.). 

    If you need to open firewall access, find more info here.

  • Check if the physical screen needs updating of e.g. firmware or browser version.

  • Check that the display is started correctly for your type of hardware. 👇

  • If you are using PinToMind Player for Windows, you can try pressing "CTRL + R" on your keyboard to refresh the content. If you are displaying in a browser on Windows, you can try pressing F5 to update the browser.
