Start screen display with PinToMind Player
🖥️ Do you have a PinToMind account with channel and posts, and want to know how to display the content on the actual screen? Welcome, you have come to the right place! 😊
First, you need to know what type of physical screen or device you will be using to display the content, and what operating system (OS) the device runs on. Once you've found that out, you can use the list below to find out if it's possible to install the PinToMind Player app on your device.

ℹ️ The PinToMind Player app is the recommended way of starting the screen display.
The PinToMind Player app is supported on devices with:
- Samsung Signage with SSSP & Tizen
- Chrome OS
- Windows (10 Pro, 11 Pro, Enterprise or Education)
- Android (8.0 or newer)
- LG webOS (6.0 or newer)
- Raspberry Pi (4 and 5)

🤷 To be able to use all features and post types, we recommend using the PinToMind Player, but if you do not have a device as describes above, the solution is to start the display in the browser in the screen or connected device.

Install PinToMind Player and start screen display on your device
Install the PinToMind Player app on your device.
🔗 Click the link to get to the guide on how to install the PinToMind Player app on your specific screen type: Samsung Tizen, Chrome, Windows, Android, Raspberry Pi or webOS (LG).
Start PinToMind Player on your device. The screen displays a unique code and instructions.
Example of a code. Note that it is a unique code that appears on your device. a. If you use PinToMind 3: On another computer or mobile: Log in to your PinToMind-account. Go to "Screens" in the left menu and select "+ CONNECT A NEW SCREEN".
b. If you use PinToMind Classic: On another computer or mobile: Log in to your PinToMind-account in https://app.pintomind.com/connect.
Enter the code on the screen to connect the device to your account.
Then select which channel (PinToMind 3) or screen (PinToMind Classic) that should be displayed on your physical device.
You can change the screen/channel displayed on this device, at any time.
The screen/channel you selected now starts displaying on your device.

Automatic timer
We recommend adding an automatic timer, for example that the screen will automatically turn on at 7 am and off at 11 pm, if this feature is possible on the equipment you are using. A daily restart, and the fact that it is not always running, gives the screen a longer life-time and is better for the environment.
