Installation of PinToMind Player from Windows Store
💡 This is information for setting up and using equipment for PinToMind. Although we have a guide, it is not necessarily a recommendation. Find information about equipment we recommend, on our website.
ℹ️ NOTE: To be able to set up the app in kiosk mode, the device must have one of the following operating systems: Windows 10 Pro, 11 Pro, Enterprise or Education.
- The PinToMind Player app is not compatible with Windows 10 LTSC.
Installation of PinToMind Player
- Open https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9PPPQRK61LQ7 on the device, or search for PinToMind Player in Windows Store.
- Follow the guide and install the app.
- Open PinToMind Player. The screen displays a code.
a. If you use PinToMind 3: On another computer or mobile: Log in to your PinToMind-account. Go to "Screens" in the left menu and select "+ CONNECT A NEW SCREEN".
b. If you use PinToMind Classic: On another computer or mobile: Log in to your PinToMind-account in https://app.pintomind.com/connect.
- Enter the code now displayed on the screen, to connect the device to your account.
- Choose which screen (PinToMind Classic) or channel (PinToMind 3) should be displayed on this. You can change which screen or channel is displayed on this device at any time.
- The screen you selected now starts displaying on your device.
Set up the PinToMind Player-app in kiosk-mode
- Open "Settings"
- Select "Accounts" -> "Family and other users" -> "Set up a kiosk" -> "Assigned access".
- "Set up a kiosk" -> "Get started".
- Add a name to the kiosk-user and "Next".
- Select "PinToMind Player" as kiosk-app and complete the installation.
- You're done! Restart Windows to restart the device in kiosk-mode.
Tips: Reload the content
On the keyboard, press "CTRL + R" for a refresh of the screen content.
