Network

ℹ️ Are you representing a large organization, reseller or content provider? Network makes it possible and easy to share resources and content with other PinToMind accounts.

While each local PinToMind account manages itself and creates its own content, the Network function makes it possible to share resources to channels or libraries on accounts connected to the Network.

  • A Network can be created from a regular account, or from a separate free of extra charge Network account without own screens.
  • There is no additional cost to establish a Network.
  • An account can be the owner of one (1) Network, but the member accounts can be members of several Networks.
  • There are no restrictions on the number of member accounts a Network can have.
  • Resources that can be shared are e.g. images, videos, news feeds, authorization to share content for social media, logo, as well as ready-made posts, themes and channels.

Create a New Account that becomes a Member of the Network

If you are an account owner on the network account and on the member accounts, and want to create a new account that becomes a member of the network, you go to the network account and press "+" in the left sidebar.

Then the new account you create will automatically be accepted as a member of the network.

Invite Existing Account to the Network

The account owner of the network account invites other PinToMind accounts as members using an invitation link, which can be found under menu option "🎁 Network".

The link can be used for both existing PinToMind accounts, and to create a new account that directly becomes a member of the network.

  • Copy the link and send by e-mail to the account owner for the account you want to invite.
  • If you are also a registered user on the future member account, you can click on the link directly and select the account that you want to make a new member.
  • To accept a new member account, go to the network account, click on "🎁 Network" -> "Members" and select "Accept" on the new account.

Administration from the Network

Overview in Dashboard

On the account that is the network owner, you can click on "🎁 Network" at the bottom of the left menu to invite new users. Here you get a quick overview of member accounts, shared posts and resources and can choose "📊 Insight" to go to a Dashboard to get more info and an overview of member accounts, connected physical screens in the network, etc.

Share and/or Publish Posts in Network

When you create a new post, or edit a post, from the account that is the Network owner, you can both share posts that can be used by members of the Network by selecting "SHARE IN NETWORK 🎁", and one can publish the post directly to channels in the Network, by selecting "# SELECT CHANNELS".

  • A Network owner who has access to publish posts directly on channels on member accounts, when managing a post, gets a list of all the channels in the Network and the option to publish posts to them.
  • If you share a post, you must add the date from when it should be shared.
  • A shared post that has not been published can be found on the member's account under "Posts" -> "From network".
  • If you publish and share a post in the Network, member accounts will be able to remove the post from the channel.
  • If a post has been published on channels in the network, but is not shared, it will be locked where it has been published by the Network owner.
  • If you select "Allow copying", members can change the post.


Share content from the Library in the Network

Everything you upload to the library on the Network owner account, you can also choose to share in the Network. It can be images, videos, files, social media authentications, news resources, calendar links, themes etc.

The member accounts find and can choose to use shared content in new postings, and on channels by going to Library, clicking on the desired resource type and selecting "From Network".


Share a Channel in the Network

If sharing a channel in the network, member accounts will be able to find that channel under "#Channels" and "From Network" and can choose to copy it. Then they will get both the layout, logo, theme and associated posts on this channel, and can use this as a starting point.

Set Standard Theme for Network

You can set a default theme, and then this theme will be the default theme for new channels created on the account, after the account has been approved by the Network. The default theme is selected under menu item "🎁 Network". Information on creating themes can be found here.

Upload Logo in Network

You can upload a logo in the library, and share this in the network, and then those from the member accounts can easily use it. If you want to share a ready layout with a logo, this must be shared as a channel. 👆


Member Account in Network

Use Content Shared from Network

As a member account, you can be a member of several networks at the same time.

You can find and use all shared content in networks of which your account is a member, by going to e.g. menu options Posts, Library, Channels and select "From Network", instead of "Own".



Restrict Network Access

As the account owner of a member account, you can limit the access the Network has to your account (e.g. whether they should be able to publish to channels). You do this under "Account" -> "🎁 Network" -> "Settings".
