Device requires action in transfer to PinToMind 3

When you are transferring your devices from PinToMind Classic to PinToMind 3, you will get information in the list of devices if there is anything that needs to be done with the hardware before the transfer. For example the device needs an update or it needs to be started with secure connection.

Here is an explanation of what the various statuses mean and what type of action is required:

🟒 Online, Secure connection and Supports V3

If everything is green, the device is compatible with PinToMind 3 and ready to transfer. πŸ™Œ

Press "Transfer" and then select which #Channel in PinToMind 3 should be displayed on this device.

🟑 Requires action

The hardware may support PinToMind 3, but it requires action on your part. For example:

πŸ”΄ Not secure connection

The device uses an old type of screen display.

To be able to use PinToMind 3 on this device, either install the PinToMind Player app, or start /live/-display in browser.

More information about the new, secure connection can be found here.

πŸ”΄ Not supported

The device is probably too old to use new web standards, which is required in PinToMind 3.

πŸ”˜ Offline

The screen is offline at the moment. Restart the physical device and check if it is connected to the local network. More information about what to check when a screen has gone offline can be found here.
